White guava pulp overview

White Guava Pulp is extracted from fresh, sound mature, and selected white guava fruits. White Guava fruits originated in central America yet, it is now cultivated worldwide in tropical and subtropical areas. We at MB AGRO offer the most accepted and commercial varieties of White guava pulp. In 2019, India contributed 41% of the world’s total guava production followed by China and Thailand. White guavas are primarily produced in Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.

Processing of White Guava Pulp

The White guava puree processing includes sorting, cutting, destoning, refining, sterilization, and packaging. Firstly, The process begins with sorting and washing white guava fruit with chlorine water and freshwater, pulping and refining and packaging. The fruit miller mashes the white guava fruit to produce white guava puree. Afterwards, the decanter is used to control the grit level in the product. We process both with and without grit.

Usage

White guava pulp is widely used in food processing industries It is mostly used in the manufacturing of guava fruit juice, beverages, drinks as well as fruit bars. As guavas contain high levels of pectins, it is ideal for the manufacturing of jams, jellies and candies and other food products. In addition to beverages and drinks, white Guava puree is also used in cakes, puddings, icecreams, milkshakes and squashes.
